Experience the joy of the good news from a Jewish sage in Galilee called Jesus. Study the texts which Matthew, Mark and Luke composed about him. For the first semester (SS 201) you will learn about the cultures and traditions out of which these gospels were composed; understand the so-called synoptic problem; and engage in the different passages in Mark and Matthew on Jesus’ life, on what he preached and practiced in Galilee, and on his passion, death and resurrection.
